Our service area splits into a Liverpool side and a Campbelltown side. Each one has its own instructor, its own phone line and its own Service NSW testing centres.
Liverpool and South Western Sydney
Ashraf teaches the Liverpool side of the service area, from Cabramatta and Bonnyrigg through to Moorebank, Holsworthy and the Edmondson Park growth corridor. Lessons build toward the Liverpool Service NSW centre on Orange Grove Road, Warwick Farm, or the Edmondson Park centre, whichever is easier for you to reach.
Campbelltown and Macarthur
George Hany teaches Campbelltown and the wider Macarthur region, from Macquarie Fields and Ingleburn out to Narellan, Oran Park and Camden. Test preparation is matched to the Macquarie Fields or Macarthur Service NSW centre, depending on where you live.

Liverpool
Our home base. Lessons cover the 40km/h zones and pedestrian traffic around Liverpool Hospital and the Bigge Street precinct, then step up to the Hume Highway. Pick-up from Westfield Liverpool, Liverpool Station, local schools and workplaces.
Warwick Farm
The Liverpool Service NSW testing centre sits on Orange Grove Road in Warwick Farm, so this is the natural place to rehearse the decisions you will make the moment you leave the car park.

Liverpool driving lessons

Ashraf has taught Liverpool learners since 2013 and plans lessons around the roads you will actually be assessed on.
Liverpool gives a learner everything in a short drive. There are 40km/h zones and constant pedestrian movement around Liverpool Hospital and the Bigge Street precinct, multi-lane roundabouts through the centre, school zones in every direction, then high-speed merging on the Hume Highway, Cowpasture Road, Elizabeth Drive and Camden Valley Way.
Test preparation is matched to the centre you will book. Learners closer to the centre of Liverpool practise around Orange Grove Road at Warwick Farm, while learners in the growth corridor around Edmondson Park, Horningsea Park and Denham Court prepare on the estate roads and roundabouts near the Edmondson Park centre instead.
Wherever you live on this side of the service area, pick-up and drop-off from home, school or work is free.
Campbelltown driving lessons
Local knowledge across Macarthur
George Hany teaches Campbelltown and the wider Macarthur region, from the established suburbs through to the newest estates, including the Narellan driving school on the Camden side.
Macarthur learners get a genuine range of conditions without long drives. Quiet crescents through Ruse, Raby and Kearns carry the first sessions. Narellan Road's multi-lane intersections and the Macarthur Square approaches follow. Campbelltown Road through Ingleburn and Minto adds school zones, pedestrian crossings and railway crossings, and the Hume Motorway interchanges cover merging at speed.
The newer estates matter too. Oran Park, Gregory Hills, Harrington Park and Emerald Hills have modern roundabouts and clear signage, which makes them a forgiving place to build give-way confidence before heading into older, busier layouts.
Preparation is matched to the centre you will use: Macquarie Fields Service NSW for the northern suburbs, Macarthur Service NSW for Campbelltown and the south.
Meet your instructor
Meet Ashraf
Ashraf is the senior driving instructor for Liverpool and the surrounding suburbs, teaching learner drivers here since 2013.
He came to driving instruction after careers in accounting and five-star hospitality, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce. The accounting background shows in how he teaches: road rules and manoeuvres get broken into clear, ordered steps rather than explained all at once.
The hospitality background shows in everything else. Nervous learners consistently say they can ask the same question twice without feeling judged, which is usually the difference between progress and a stalled licence.
Book anywhere on the Liverpool side and Ashraf learns your current strengths, records the skills still in progress, and builds each lesson from the one before it.
Meet your instructor
Meet George Hany
George is the senior driving instructor for Campbelltown and the Macarthur region, and has been teaching learner drivers since 2005.
Before driving instruction, George taught at TAFE NSW and in high schools. That background shows in the lessons: when one explanation does not land, he has three more ways to teach the same skill rather than repeating himself louder.
He holds a Graduate Diploma in Education from Australian Catholic University, a Master of Building Science from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Town Planning. Like every instructor here, he is accredited by Transport for NSW and holds a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
His teaching approach is calm repetition and specific feedback. You finish each lesson knowing what improved, what still needs work, and what you can safely practise with a supervising driver before the next booking.

From first booking to test day
The pace changes for every learner. The sequence does not.
1. Book online or call
Choose a time online, or call the number for your region if you would rather talk it through. Tell us your suburb and pick-up address.
2. Your instructor comes to you
The first lesson establishes where you are at: vehicle control, confidence, experience and what you want to achieve.
3. Build skills in a clear order
Quiet streets first, then intersections, roundabouts, parking, night and wet-weather driving, then real traffic decisions.
4. Prepare for the test, then sit it
Practice tests on local routes confirm you are ready. Add test-day car hire and a warm-up lesson if you want to use our car.

Which testing centre will you use?
We prepare learners for the Service NSW driver testing centres used across our service area. Your instructor will recommend the one that suits where you live, then build route practice around it.

Book the test yourself through Service NSW
Driving tests are booked directly with Service NSW, not through us. Available centres, appointment times and eligibility requirements change, so confirm the current options when you book.
Sydney South Driving School is an independent driving school. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Service NSW or Transport for NSW.
Logbook hours before the test
Learner drivers under 25 must complete their supervised driving hours before the practical test. Each hour with a Transport for NSW accredited instructor records as three hours in the logbook, capped at 10 professional hours, which equals 30 logbook hours.
Learners aged 25 and over are not required to complete the 120 supervised hours, so the concession does not apply. Overseas licence holders converting to a NSW licence are assessed differently again.
Test day itself
You can use our automatic car for the assessment, with a warm-up lesson immediately before it. Car hire depends on availability and on your instructor being satisfied you can drive the vehicle safely.
Structured lessons and practice tests improve skill, judgement and readiness. They do not decide the outcome: no driving school can guarantee a Service NSW driving-test result.

Who will my driving instructor be?
Ashraf teaches Liverpool and the surrounding suburbs. George Hany teaches Campbelltown and the Macarthur region. You keep the same instructor for every lesson, so nothing has to be explained twice.
Which testing centre will my lessons prepare me for?
Whichever is easiest for you to reach. Liverpool learners generally use Liverpool Service NSW at Orange Grove Road, Warwick Farm, or Edmondson Park. Macarthur learners generally use Macquarie Fields or Macarthur Service NSW. Route practice is built around your centre.
Do lessons count towards my logbook hours?
For learner drivers under 25, yes. Each hour with a Transport for NSW accredited instructor records as three logbook hours, up to 10 professional hours or 30 logbook hours. Learners 25 and over are not required to complete the 120 supervised hours.
Can I use your car for the driving test?
Yes. Test-day packages include a warm-up lesson immediately before the assessment plus use of the automatic car you have been learning in, subject to availability and your instructor's safety assessment.
