Terms for lessons, bookings and test-day services
Booking or attending a lesson means the learner and any person booking for them accept these conditions.
1. Booking and lesson location
The learner and school agree on the lesson date, start time, duration, pick-up point and drop-off point. A standard lesson is one hour unless a different duration is confirmed. Location changes require instructor agreement and must remain within the available service area and schedule.
2. Licence and eligibility
The learner must hold and carry a current Australian class C learner, provisional or full licence, or a current overseas licence that legally permits driving in NSW. The learner must disclose licence conditions, suspension, cancellation, disqualification or any change that affects legal eligibility before the lesson.

3. Readiness for the lesson
The learner should be ready at the agreed location at least 10 minutes before the start time. A mobile phone must be silenced and must not be handled while driving. The learner must be fit to drive and not impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, medication, fatigue, illness or distress.
4. Instructor directions and vehicle safety
The learner must follow lawful safety directions and treat the instructor and vehicle respectfully. The instructor may use dual controls or other reasonable intervention to prevent danger. Smoking, vaping, abusive behaviour and deliberate vehicle misuse are not permitted.
5. When a lesson may be changed or ended
The instructor may refuse to begin, modify or end a lesson when continuing is unlawful or unsafe. This includes reckless conduct, repeated refusal to follow safety directions, an invalid or missing licence, undisclosed licence conditions, impairment, threatening behaviour, unacceptable hygiene or a vehicle or road condition that prevents safe instruction.

- An instructor-caused cancellation that is not the learner's fault will be rescheduled or otherwise resolved without charging for an undelivered lesson
6. Late arrival, cancellation and no-show
The instructor may wait up to 10 minutes at the agreed pick-up point. Late time may be deducted from the lesson. A booking may be cancelled and charged when the learner is more than 10 minutes late without notice. Give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule without a cancellation charge; a late cancellation or no-show may incur up to the full booked fee.
7. Prices, packages and payment
The price and inclusions shown when the booking or package is confirmed apply to that purchase. Package hours, instalments, expiry or redemption conditions should be confirmed before payment. A payment does not override instructor safety decisions, licence requirements or cancellation conditions.
8. Test-day lessons and car hire
Use of a school vehicle for a practical driving test depends on availability, legal eligibility and the instructor's assessment that the learner can use the vehicle safely. The instructor may decline or withdraw the vehicle when safety or eligibility requirements are not met. No lesson, package, practice test or car hire guarantees a pass.
9. Learning outcomes and inherent risk
Driving involves risks that cannot be removed completely. The school uses accredited instruction, dual controls and reasonable safety precautions, but the learner remains responsible for following directions and making safe decisions. Progress varies with experience, practice, confidence and conditions.
10. Personal property
The learner is responsible for personal belongings brought to the lesson. The school is not responsible for loss or damage unless responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Bookings made for another learner
A parent, guardian, employer, friend or other person making a booking must provide accurate details and ensure the learner receives these terms before attending. The learner must still meet every licence, fitness, conduct and safety requirement.
12. Privacy, complaints and changes
Booking information is handled under the privacy policy. Contact the school promptly about a service concern so the relevant booking and instructor information can be reviewed. These terms may be updated when services, prices or legal obligations change; the date above identifies this version.

What licence must I bring?
Bring a current licence that legally permits you to drive in NSW and comply with every condition shown on it.

Can an instructor refuse to use the school car for my test?
Yes. Car hire remains subject to availability, legal eligibility and the instructor's safety assessment.
Will a lesson package guarantee that I pass?
No. Instruction prepares skills and decisions, but only the testing officer determines the test result.
What happens when someone else books for me?
The person booking must provide accurate details and give you these terms. You remain responsible for licence, fitness, behaviour and safety requirements.
