When we first landed in Australia, one of the most daunting and dreaded part of moving here was the driving test! All the horror stories of people failing for the smallest mistakes and the multiple repeats required to pass the test!

That was when we thought that we needed some help and guidance to navigate through this portion of completing the move to sydney. After some googling and some calls, we found our selves choosing Sydney South driving school, and started to take lessons with Ashraf! Ashraf has been an driving instructor with many years of experience under his belt. One of his best traits would probably be his patience with new drivers to the NSW driving culture/laws and guiding them gently to get to know the ropes around these parts of NSW.

For the test preparation, his guides and tips were crucial to pass the exam and more than that, it was crucial to be a safer driver on the road! Just for the record, I did manage to pass the driving test on the first attempt largely due to Ashraf’s lecture and lessons on driving in NSW.

As such I would recommend Ashraf and Sydney South Driving school to anyone looking for some help to transition into a P or Full license holder. 5 of 5 star review for him :)

Only had one driving lesson with the Liverpool chain and would recommend to everyone! Went here to get confirmation that I was ready for my P1 test and my instructor was very knowledgable and helpful. He assisted with letting me know information about the test and what I am required to do to pass, and helped me with correcting my mistakes so that I am able to pass. Definitely satisfied with my experience with the Sydney South Driving School.

I had 2 sessions with George which was really helpful and made me ready for driving test (I transferred my overseas licence) by his great points. At 28 years old after battling with and beating brain cancer I decided it was finally time to sort my life out and get my driver's license.I found Sydney South Driving School whose Liverpool Branch serviced my suburb in St Johns Park.My instructor Ashraf was SO patient and personable, all whilst being a much better teacher than I had (from a different driving school) many years ago when I was 17.I was grateful for his insights into being a safe driver, the Hazard Perception and P's tests, and even life more generally. I also highly recommend booking 2hour lessons because you learn much more quickly!After just a few months I went from having NO confidence behind the wheel to now being excited to take on lots of new adventures on my own. THANKYOU so much!

I went to Sydney South Driving school and I was struggling to understand headchecks and the right places to indicate and Geroge helped me go from someone with basic to no knowledge on my Ls to my Ps so I highly recommend this place and especially Geroge

Ashraf was an amazing instructor!!!I hardly ever drove before my test, but he simplified driving. He has very good knowledge of driving, what they do during the test. Was very helpful to guide through my weak points. Thanks to his guidance was able to pass in first go.

Completed 1 hour of driving with my instructor, Ashraf Fahmy, on short notice. This was two days before my driving test and the tips he gave were so helpful. He was very friendly, honest and patient throughout the whole lesson. I was able to pass my P’s test the following Monday (on my first attempt). I highly recommend Ashraf for anyone that needs a refresher before their test.
