When we first landed in Australia, one of the most daunting and dreaded part of moving here was the driving test! All the horror stories of people failing for the smallest mistakes and the multiple repeats required to pass the test!

That was when we thought that we needed some help and guidance to navigate through this portion of completing the move to sydney. After some googling and some calls, we found our selves choosing Sydney South driving school, and started to take lessons with Ashraf! Ashraf has been an driving instructor with many years of experience under his belt. One of his best traits would probably be his patience with new drivers to the NSW driving culture/laws and guiding them gently to get to know the ropes around these parts of NSW.

For the test preparation, his guides and tips were crucial to pass the exam and more than that, it was crucial to be a safer driver on the road! Just for the record, I did manage to pass the driving test on the first attempt largely due to Ashraf’s lecture and lessons on driving in NSW.

As such I would recommend Ashraf and Sydney South Driving school to anyone looking for some help to transition into a P or Full license holder. 5 of 5 star review for him :)

Only had one driving lesson with the Liverpool chain and would recommend to everyone! Went here to get confirmation that I was ready for my P1 test and my instructor was very knowledgable and helpful. He assisted with letting me know information about the test and what I am required to do to pass, and helped me with correcting my mistakes so that I am able to pass. Definitely satisfied with my experience with the Sydney South Driving School.

Completed 1 hour of driving with my instructor, Ashraf Fahmy, on short notice. This was two days before my driving test and the tips he gave were so helpful. He was very friendly, honest and patient throughout the whole lesson. I was able to pass my P’s test the following Monday (on my first attempt). I would gladly take the time to write a review for Sydney South Driving School because this school and George highly deserves it.Being someone who had very little confidence on the road, it was George who patiently taught and guidedme since my Day 1 with him.I had a few lessons from another driving school in the past but it was only thru George that I truly learned.His instructions were always clear and he was very patient with me. He was also very flexible when it comes to the schedule and he gave me the confidence I needed.He also explained road rules very well.I never imagined myself driving because being on the road always made me anxious but George helped me overcome that fear and he prepared me so well for my driving test. Increases your confidence, reinforces good driving habits and test behavior. Within a couple lessons, knowledge and skill is exponentially increased. I recommend taking a lesson before your test to do a mock test and get as much information as possible, which George makes easily digestible and simple to understand. Passed on my first attempt using George’s tips and tricks.

Highly recommend. Ashraf was my trainer. Within 2 hours he explained everything required for the test. I got the appointment early due to a cancellation and there was only one day to prepare. Ashraf kindly agreed to take 2 hours class and that’s it. He trained me with the limited available time. And I got my license on first attempt. Many Thanks to Ashraf.

Sydney South Driving School is definitely one of the best, if not the best, driving instructors in the area, and I say this after having had 2 different instructors previously. I had Ashraf as my instructor and he is amazing. Very kind and patient! I went to my first lesson shaking from nerves because I hadn't driven in about 2 years, and today I'm very happy to say I passed my driving test (on the first go!) and I contribute my success to Ashraf's excellent teaching. He explains every concept thoroughly and allows you to practice things over and over again, and he answers any question you may have. There are even package deals if you're struggling a bit financially, but in my opinion the prices are very fair considering the depth of knowledge you get from each lesson. 100% excellent company and I'm very glad I was able to drive with them! If you have anxiety about driving I 100% recommend Sydney South Driving School because they are so incredibly patient and friendly.

South Sydney Driving School has been so helpful and supportive as I built my confidence and skills as a Learner driver. George is a fabulous instructor and is extremely wise and professional when it comes to driving. He is the reason for my confidence and that i was able to pass first go. His explanation of road rules and what to do is the feature about him as he informs your mistakes in a calm voice helping you fix it, and best of all, comments positive points about your driving. If your looking for an instructor, Sydney south driving school is the by far the best driving school.

South Sydney driving school in my opinion is one of the BEST driving schools out there, especially for Learners who aren’t that confident in driving like I was at first. Ashraf, my Liverpool instructor was patient and calm with me all throughout my driving experience and if I made an error he would calmly explain where I went wrong/ how to picture the scenario etc. Driving with him was HIGHLY professional and without them I wouldn’t have passed my test first go.
