(P2 - Green P's) NSW Provisional Licence
You need to know:
Pass a hazard perception test (HPT) on the computer. Provisional
Licence (P2): Minimum Age: 18 years Minimum Tenure: 2 years (at this
stage) Licence valid for: 2 years 6 months Conditions:
Progression to P2 - Green P's :
- ZERO BAC
- 100 km/h maximum speed allowable
- P plates to be displayed (green P) on the outside.
- No towing restrictions
- 7 demerit points for 2 yrs 6 months
- No auto restriction
- Must not supervise a learner.
- Upgrading to a higher licence is allowed.
- Progression to a 'full' licence: Pass a Driver Qualification Test
(DQT) which is a combination of an advanced hazard perception
test, a further test of road rules and knowledge of safe driving
practices.
